You have already probably noticed that it is the time of year when GCSE students begin their statistics investigations.
Most of the investigations involve approximating or testing reaction times, they only take a few minutes but they allow students to complete coursework which counts for 40% of their final GCSE grade. Statistics is a topic which is covered exclusively by express maths students who have already taken their Maths exams in November. However, we ask why is this subject not available to other students in years 10 and 11?
Regardless of your opinions we urge you to make sure you attend any sessions you are asked to go to, we also remind you to answer honestly and sensibly as your replies will directly affect students marks.
